Narew National Park

The greatest natural asset of the park is its well-preserved and unspoilt swampy River Narew valley which features a unique system of flood waters, meanders, old river beds, bulrushes and low-bogs, all of which are called Polish Amazonia. It has particularly rich bind life with over 200 species, out of which 154 species have their nesting grounds in the park. Some species of the local water birds are difficult to spot elsewhere in Europe.
