Magura National Park
The park occupies the central part of the Lower Beskid Range, dominated by Mount Magura Watkowska (846 m above sea level).
It covers areas typical for the Beskid Range landscape with forested dome-like hills, which are separated from each other by the valleys of rivers, and brooks.
River Wisloka is born in the park and runs across its territory, forming numerous scenic gorges and meanders.
The hills are overgrown with beech, fir and spruce forests.
The flora of the park boasts many rare mountain species and protected plants.
The park fauna is represented by bear, wolf, lynx, wildcat, golden eagle and eagle owl.
