Drawa National Park
The park, located in the Drawska Forest, contains parts of the Drawa river valley (one of the most beautiful rivers in Polish Pomerania), the Plociczna river, its tributary, and thirteen lakes.
Pine forests cover 78 percent of the park's total area, but there are also forests where pine is mixed with oak, beech, and alder.
Of particular interest are the high moorlands in the Plociczna river basin, which abound in rare species of marsh plants and post-glacial remains.
Various species of fish inhabit the crystal-clear waters of the park.
The park is also home to beaver, otter, and osprey, a rare bird of prey.
