- Wysowa Zdrój lies at 520 m above sea level, on the river Ropa, in the
Beskid Niski range, near Magura Małastowska Scenic Park. Surrounded by thick
beech and mixed forests, it has an excellent microclimate. The artificial lake in
Klimkówka, 320 hectares in area, is the local attraction. The nearby border crossing
in Konieczna is a convenient point for trips around the border areas of Slovakia and Poland.

- It is a nice walk to the historical Old Spa

There are many hiking routes in the area, including the picturesque trail to the
source of the mountain stream Szumniak. Water sports are available on the reservoir
