Location

Świeradów Zdrój lies at 490-550 m above sea level, on the northern slope of the Izerskie mountains, in the Kwisa river valley, between two mountains: Stóg Izerski (1,107 m) and Sępia Góra (828 m). The features of the unique mountain climate enable many diseases to be treated here. Świeradów Zdrój is also a holiday and tourist centre, and a winter-sports station in winter. In the centre of the spa stands the beautiful historical Spa House with a theatre room. The town's environs are covered with extensive spruce forests with some deciduous trees. Czemiawa Zdrój, a small picturesque spa, lies nearby, in the Czerniawka river valley. It specializes in treating children.
