Gniezno
Commonly considered to be the cradle of the Polish state. Its Gothic Cathedral contains a sliver sarcophagus of St Adalbert. Aisles are filled with many chapels. The bronze doors (12th century) depict in bas-relief 18 scenes the life of St Adalbert.
