Gothic Teutonic Knights’ castle.

This charming town, surrounded by the forests and lakes of the Bytowksie Lakes District, is home to a Gothic castle from the late 14th - early 15th century, a former stronghold of the Teutonic Knights. After the knights lost control of the regions, the castle belonged to the Pomeranian princes. Today this historic structure is full of life and many interesting events. It houses the Museum of Western Kushubia, an art gallery, a hotel and a restaurant.
