This village near Łowicz, a center of traditional folk culture, is linked to the Radziwiłł magnate family, who owned the palace-and-park residence that was initially built for Primate Michał Radziejowski. Inside, collections include Roman antiquities, such as a Roman copy of the Greek original of the head of Niobe from the 4th century B.C., as well as ceramics and paintings. Behind the palace stretches a French park and beyond that an English park. Just five kilometres from Nieborów is the beautiful Romantic scenic park Arkadia, featuring buildings modelled after ancient structures.
