Wielkopolska National Park

All characteristic elements of the post-glacial landscape occur in the park located near Poznan, in the Wielkopolskie Lake District. Thus, there are hills (130 m. above sea level), sub glacial channels and lakes. Pine and mixed forests cover a majority part of the park. The park's flora includes many rare and protected species. The forests are home to such animals as red deer, roe deer, wild boar, marten, badger, hare and numerous bird species.
