Roztocze National Park

This park encompasses the central part of the Roztocze region. The eminences are divided by deep ravines. The Wieprz and Tanew rivers gently wind their way across the park. Forests, mainly beech and fir, cover 93 percent of the park's territory. The rich flora includes both lowland and highland species, as well as stenothermal species originating from southeastern Europe. The Roztoczanski National Park boasts 190 species of birds.
